2001-08-11 @ 2:33 a.m. So FINALLY...we come back home and I write the previous diary entry about how pissed off I can get at my father. And I still am mad at him by the way. I also check my email and find that one of my roommates has sent me an email saying that he has figured out everything that everyone is bringing. I don't really have to bring a lot. Just my carpet and my phone basically. Its nice having 3 other roomates...I hope. After about 15 minutes on the computer, my mom asks if I want to go see Rush Hour 2 at the theater, and I say "why not?" So we go there AGAIN. I talked for a while to michael chapman whom I really haven't seen in awhile. I guess he's going to JCCC. The movie was good, and when it was over I realized how cool it was outside and decided to take a bike ride. On my way back home I saw that Ely kid walking across Tennessee. I didn't say anything to him. He dosen't know me anyway. After sitting around the house after getting back, I realize that I am very very bored. First I play some one on one with my brother and win 20 to 18. After he walked inside in defeat I shot some free throws and played some mind games with myself. Those are always fun. For example, if I make a shot, something good will happen but if I miss, it will not happen. After that nonsense, I take a shower and tell my parents that I am going to see Jason. Instead I decide to spend some more quality time with my lonesome and go to Hastings to spend a portion of my $50 gift certificate. I bought 2 cds that cut that $50 in half. Oh well. Then I still don't go to Jason's. I guess he was planning a party or something, but I didn't feel like getting drunk tonight. I ended up driving to Leavenworth (of all places). Leavenworth is a sorry excuse for a town. I would never want to live there. It makes Lawrence look 110x nicer. So after that drive I get back home and here I am. On the road again. Here I am. Up on the stage. There I go. Playing the star again. There I go. Turn the page. I bet you can guess one of the cds I bought. If you guessed Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, you guessed correctly. The metallica version sucks. I don't like metallica. My brother says my music taste is going mainstream. I don't care. You only live once. 8 days until I'm out of my parent's house. I'm my own best friend right now. I hope you feel the same way about yourselves.
