I went to bed at around 4 this morning because I couldn't sleep. It was weird because I had gone for a large bike ride earlier that night. On that bike ride, I thought for a long time about the events that created my summer. I ran into some people I hadn't seen in a while too. There were 3 of these people, and I didn't remember their names, but they all waved and said "hi Eric". It was fascinating. I also saw Fred Phelps' gang out on Mass. I fingered them...in my mind. Maybe it was the protesters keeping me awake last night. Who knows?

Well, today I woke up at a bright and early noon. I ripped off the street sign portion that said "Eric drive". I was given it for my birthday by my sister and brother...its very nice. I couldn't rip off the portion that said 37th street though. Oh well. Also I scraped my fingers in the process of separating the 2 signs...ouch.

After that mess I recieved a phone call from another future roommate. I guess he knows that Ely kid...which makes me wonder...maybe everyone knows this Ely kid. Anyway, Steve seemed like a cool guy and I think we'll get along.

I made a run to dillons after that to get some groceries for my mom. I ran into C-Lo and his unidentifiable stranger...possibly a new friend? Wow. I haven't seen Carlo in awhile! Oh wait, its only been about 5 days. I'm kind of mad at him right now though because he's been using me for money. Don't do that folks...its just wrong.

Anyway, I got back from the errand to hear my mom on the phone with my aunt. My aunt and cousin are in KC at my grandmother's house right now and we are going to see them tomorrow. I guess my aunt forgot to send in a form that would allow my cousin to have a late orientation, making it easy for him to get some decent classes. Unfortunately, Pete has to go through open enrollment which is a bitch. I wish him luck and will try to help him out the best I can. If I were him, I would be pretty scared about his situation. I think its guarnteed that hes going to have a difficult semester here. I hope it works out though.

I mowed the lawn after dinner. Listened to 98.9 while mowing and they were playing "Sweet Child of mine" by Guns and Roses and its still stuck in my mind...would someone please help me get it out?

Ann and I are planning to steal another street sign for her dorm room a little later tonight. Don't tell anyone. We're so bad.
