Not quite done with finals, but I decided to have my Corona anyway!

Good thing my finals are almost over...I was beginning to substitute the days of the week with what final I have. It's only because I had five finals and although I didn't have one on Monday, it just seems like I had one every day this week. My finals have gone really well so far. I took my Greek and Roman Mythology final today and all that studying really paid off. I bet I got an A on it. I got a C on the midterm though, so I'll probably hold my B in the class. However, I think I'm going to get A's in 3 classes, so I think I'll have a good GPA this semester. So this will be further proof that doing band affects my GPA. I'm really torn about it though, I mean the drumline got new drums this year...and they're blue! But, I think my performance in school and my overall sanity are more important than banging on a new drum. So I think I'll just bang a new 'drum' next year.

Sorry...that was a pretty stupid pun there, but what can I say? Anyway, I got back from Ann's little drinking party upstairs and am having some more forbidden alcohol thanks to Madeleine. Madeleine gave me some of her things that she thought would offend her parents if they saw them, so she gave them to me. The Corona is good. I have a 10:30 politics final tomorrow too! Oops...well, I don't really care because I have an A in there already and if I get a B, I'll just say that I got burned out, which I am, but I think I'll still do well anyway. I'm on a freakin roll with the finals!

So another year has come and gone and so has Madeleine. Her dad came down from Iowa tonight and I said bye to her for the summer at about that same time. While I was upstairs I found 2 cards to a deck of playing cards that Madeleine and I used to play Egyptian Rat Screw with at La Parrilla all the time. I picked up the cards and I felt like crying, but it's going to be ok. Ann asked what was wrong and said that we should go visit her this summer. She wants to see the old house! That would be great if we could do that and I hope we get to. However, the summer will probably be shorter than expected, especially with Madeleine going all over the place. I bet my summer will seem much longer considering last summer was the worst of my life and I have no fun plans. Oh yeah, I need a job too. Well, at least I'll just be missing Madeleine instead of being depressed. I hope the former is better.

Wow, I'm really going home tomorrow. I guess I'll get to spend time with my brother and Ann. Ann says we're going to make shirts and hopefully we can go to LP and GK (sorry Madeleine, I realized that I have to go to LP without you and I promised that I wouldn't, but I have to)!

Spider is gone. He won't be missed!
