The Fun Bike Ride Gone Bad

2002-05-26 @ 2:08 am

Today pretty much included me convincing my mom to shop at Food 4 Free, a failing attempt to make pizza with her, and an awesome bike ride with my brother that also sucked at the same time. Seeing that the first 2 things need no further explanation, I'll talk about the bike ride.

Joe and I decided to ride out to the river and try their off road trails. I've never really mountain biked before, but it was really cool...at first. That was until it started to get really hard. We ran into countless muddy hills, huge unavoidable puddles, logs, and poison ivy, which Joe happened to fall off of his bike and encounter at one point. Joe actually did a good job though and was kicking my ass throughout. We finally got to the end of the trail, which was a cool view of the river. According to Joe, it was the perfect place to have 'butt sex.' While resting there, Joe and I shared a brotherly moment of shouting obscenities into the distance and listened to their echoes. After turning around, we found a fork in the trail that took us to the main trail. Since it was getting really dark and we were tired and about 15 miles from home, we decided to stick to the main route. When we got back to the bridge, Joe's bike chain broke so we pretty much had to walk the remaining 5 miles home. So yeah, thats why it was fun and pretty bad at the same time.

My dad unplugged our computer for pretty much no reason whatsoever. He says that he won't fix it until he get's Joe's grades and he doesn't have any C's and not until I get a job! He's being a freaking nazi don't you think? Well, he's also a dumb ass because Joe found out how to get it working anyway. Thats why I'm on now. Don't tell ok? Well, I had better go to bed because I'm tired.

Things I'm looking forward to that will/should happen in the near future:

1. My parents leaving for New York on Tuesday.

2. Getting a Job.

3. Seeing Madeleine, but unfortunately, that will be awhile from now...
