Thoughts about tomorrow

Man, today has just been a big blah. My parents went to see Star Wars 2, I woke up at what, 1:30 pm and watched most of Clerks with Joe. Now I'm here doing nothing at Budig. Budig has become my major hangout of the summer so far. Thats likely to change tomorrow when I finally start working. I like the feeling that I'm going to make some money now. There are 2 things that I really want: a mountain bike, and an ipod. Those are really expensive items, but I want to trade in my road bike or sell it, so that will cut down the price a little. Also, I'm going to get my sister's computer, because she wants a lab top, so again, maybe I can talk my parents into getting me an ipod for my birthday because they didn't need to buy me a new computer. My mom said that they would probably pay $300 dollars toward one already, and I suppose I'm willing to chip in the extra amount. I plan on making about $800 dollars this summer and I hope to work too when school starts part time. Just because I like the feeling of making money. Doing dishes won't be so bad because I won't have to deal with customers and stuff...maybe I said that already. Watching Clerks today made me feel better about getting this job though. After working, I'm going to hang out with Jason, Will, and Carlo. So tomorrow should be fun.

Madeleine arrived back at her home in Cedar Falls last night after being gone on her trip for 2 weeks. I talked to her for about an hour on Instant Messanger, but she's going to call me tonight at 8:30. She starts summer school tomorrow and has to decide on 2 classes to take. She's also taking care of a foster child, so she's going to be really busy. Summer school was a pain for me last summer, but I know I'll have to take it again sometime, probably next year...at least it won't be in spanish.

Well, I'm going to sit here and listen to some music and play some Yahoo chess. I'm 75 and 42 now...33 games over .500! Pretty good considering I started out like 3 and 12 or something like that. It just goes to show you that practice and Chessmaster 3000 makes it perfect.
