Goodbye Perkins

Well, I'll be quitting Perkins soon. I have been hired by my uncle's law office. So all the crap I had to suffer with will finally end. I feel really lucky now. Thank you for a nice job and great pay. The only drawback is that I have to drive into Kansas City every day, but that shouldn't be too bad. We'll see. Oh yeah, I'll have to dress really nicely too. But hey, this will be fun! No more digging through grimey shit at Perkins. I doubt I'll be as tired when I come home too. I should learn a lot too.

We got someone to buy our ladder. It was my meteorology professor! What a small world. After all the pain and agony I went through his class and came out with a B. Now he wants our ladder...strange.

I'm trying to think of a way to go up and see Madeleine. I wish that it was possible to do it like the day after tomorrow, but I'll probably still have to work at Perkins until after Sunday. I'm such a good person it makes me sick. Anyway, hopefully I can be able to maybe go up to Iowa on a friday night after work and then stay during the weekend and come back down on Sunday. I think that could work out pretty well. Fingers crossed.

Well, I have a lot going on tomorrow. I have an advising appointment at KU education, then I'm going to check out my new job, go to Perkins to say I'm quitting soon, then hang out with Carlo if possible. Then work my ass off for 4 more straight days at Perkins (more than 30 hours worth). I mean, I'll get paid which is good, but I know it will be rough. Especially with them knowing that I'll be quitting. Well, this will be a test of stregnth! Lets hope I pass.

Well thats it. Things are still looking great for me. Making more money, avoiding Perkins...I don't think it can get much better!
