I called Madeleine last night and we had a great 2 hour talk about everything and nothing ;) We still hope that I can go up there and see her in 2 weeks...we'll see how that works out with her parents and her schoolwork. It would be exciting if I can do that though. 2 weeks is really not far away at all.

After talking to Madeleine, I went over to Steak and Shake and found Carlo slaving away there. He finally got done about an hour later than he was scheduled, so we didn't have much time at all to do anything, so I just drove him back to Baker. We're supposed to do something later tonight because we don't have to work, but he hasn't called yet...

Well, my NEW job starts tomorrow. I'll be going through the orientation process, learn how to do things, go out to lunch, that deal. I'll probably see my uncle and cousin there too.

I also just realized that after working this next week at the law firm, I will have worked for 11 straight days and 12 out of 13 days. And you could really say that I worked all 13 days too because on that one day I had 'off' that day I went in to Kansas City to learn about my job and also told Perkins I was quitting, so that was a really busy day too for an off day. I'll be looking forward to next weekend when it happens I bet. But for now, I'm really excited to be working somewhere else and it should be really fun.
