"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family." - George W. Bush, Nashua, New Hampshire, Jan. 27, 2000.

Well, nothing interesting has occurred in the last couple of days, which is why I haven't updated. I'm just tired from driving all over the place this past week and working all of the time I guess.

Money news: I'll get paid on wednesday and my mom just took some of my books back (not all of them) and got 56 dollars for them, so now I will have some more money. Also, there's a chance that I might lifeguard at Robinson because I heard that they had some open positions and would help out people that had their certification expired...so I could be making more money during the school year. Madeleine doesn't like me talking about all the money I'm making and I don't blame her. Hearing other people having globs of money when you don't really sucks. But I'm just writing this because it's my way of bragging that I'm making money while not pissing anyone off...because I sure don't mean to do that.

In other news: I got really high last night. Probably the highest yet. Yeah, not too proud of that. It still burns my throat when I take it in. I like drinking better. I'm more used to that.

Music news: I've finally started to branch off my horizions in the electronic music department. I just made a cd from Plaid and it's pretty damn good. Sounds a lot like Orbital. In addition, I'm also starting to listen to more and more of Paul Oakenfold, who sounds different from my traditional Orbital (he's more trance-like) but some of his stuff that I'm listening to sounds good. Also, I'm getting closer and closer to buying an IPOD. They knocked down $100 on the 5 and 10 GB's and added a freaking 20 GB IPOD! Imagine...4000 songs on that little machine! Well, I;m thinking about buying the 10 GB now because it comes with a carrying case and a remote and plus it will store 2000 songs for the price of the 1000 that I was going to buy for the 5 GB earlier (I'm glad I haven't bought one yet). So we'll see if I get it for my birthday (my parents know I want it badly), but if not, I'll buy it myself.

In other music news: Yes, it's offical...the Granada (aka the Granasty and other filthy names I don't want to mention at this moment) is history. Yes, Abe and Jakes (now the home to you retarded Pomeroy fans out there) bought them out and fired all of the employees. So we'll have to see what Abe and Jakes will do to it. Hopefully some good bands will still decide to come and play there, because that was the trademark of the Granada. And if not, there's always Liberty Hall...Oddly enough, last night was the last one for the Granada and Jason's old roommate was the DJ. He totally sucks at it so I'm told. But I thought it was funny and also fitting that the Granasty ends with a crappy DJ, whom I also happen to know.

Well, I'm tired...still...so I'm just going to go to bed. Madeleine is in Illinois for a wedding. She's having a busy summer too. It's like we're having a contest or something.
