Giving and seeking support

2002-09-16 @ 2:45 am

A lot has happened since the last entry. I committed some soul-less and wrong acts (see last entry) this weekend. For more information about the 'great' time every band person had this Saturday, check out my girlfriend's blog, found at the bottom. I'll sum up the experience by saying that I spent over 12 hours in a sweaty-drenched uniform, which gave me rashes in all the wrong places. I did get trashed though at the party. Every bass drummer showed up and we posed for a couple of pictures together. I did a keg stand. I was a happy drunk last night and thats definitely because of the party. It almost made me forget about those 12 hours.

I talked with Ann for the first time since she left, tonight. It was nice to hear from her again. Supposedly, she's going to be connected to the internet tomorrow, so I can converse with her more often through AIM or email. But she's doing well and having fun!

Joe got really lucky today on Limewire. He found this guy who had 5/6 of the Phish 'Hampton Comes Alive' discs...it's six cds of a 2 day show that Phish did back in 1998 and it's worth about $70 dollars. It's a really great live album and we almost have all of it. All we have to do now is find the songs to the final disc. Joe even burned me the five cds too while I was gone. My brother is the man. He's helped me add a lot of cds to my collection and I guess I have done the same for him too. It's nice to have that kind of teamwork ;)

Oh yeah, the new Pearl Jam cd is coming out November 12 and I already have a place for it in my cd carrier. Am I sick or what?

Well, it's not like I don't have a lot of other stuff on my mind, but I'm done writing. It's a lot of crap that I just want to put behind me and hope for the best. It's been a tough week.

Don't be shy you learn to fly

And see the sun when day is done

If only you see

Just what you are beneath a star

That came to stay one rainy day

In autumn for free

Yes, be what you'll be.

Please beware of them that stare

They'll only smile to see you while

Your time away

And once you've seen what they have been

To win the earth just won't seem worth

Your night or your day

Who'll hear what I say.
