2002-10-12 @ 1:30 am Tomorrow is homecoming at KU and it's going to suck. I have to wake up in 5 hours and go to band rehearsal. Then I have to play in a parade and then at the game. This means I have no lunch break at all or any free time until I am dead tired at around 4:30 in the afternoon. Ah, fuck band!!! I have a paper to write and a big midterm on Tuesday too. Damn Damn Damn. I'll probably still go to Keegan's party though. We'll see. I went to KU's Late Night again this year after much mental debate of whether it was a good idea to do so. It was pretty horrible in my opinion. Madeleine liked it, but I could tell that there were moments where she didn't want to be there either. I think she was tired tonight because she was pretty short with me and had an answer for everything. We got in a heated debate of whether KU's blue matched Kentucky's, Florida's, Duke's, BYU's, or Air Force's blue's (there may be more universities in division I-A that have this color blue too), but she was certain that it was a different shade of blue. I shouldn't have really argued with her though, I mean, it doesn't really matter anyway. It's just a color. I shouldn't be so hard on her though. We're both really tough on each other sometimes, but we love each other a lot too. She does so much for me and she's always there for me when I need help. It's so great to have her in my life. OK, these are my top five favorite cd's of the week: 1. 'Animals' Pink Floyd 2. 'Ain't Life Grand' Widespread Panic. 3. 'Rift' Phish 4. 'No Code' Pearl Jam 5. 'Transport' Paul Oakenfold On a final note (and also musically related), I guess Bob Dylan was going to come to KC's Uptown on October, 28th, but we checked the ticketmaster website, the Uptown website, and Dylan's website again today and they must have removed the date from his tour. That sucks because it would be awesome to see Bob Dylan in concert! He's still playing in Ames, Iowa so there's a possibility that Madeleine and I could take a day off and drive up there for it, but I don't think that would work too well with school and everything. So it's really too bad he's not coming to KC. Hopefully he will either change his mind (doubtful of course) or he will have another tour and come to the area soon. Ah! This entry is over, which is a shame because it's probably the last fun thing I get to do for the next 15 hours. Arg. Goodnight.
