We had some big time family conversations today. We all had some differences with each other, but they got all worked out. So it's all good now. Ann, Joe, and I are planning on going to GK in KC on Tuesday. So that will be fun.

I'm almost done with my third book this break. So I've been reading a lot. They're pretty short books though. Almost done reading 'The Sun Also Rises.' It's pretty good. I'll have to go back to the bookstore soon to get some more books. Also, I've been uploading/downloading a lot of music to put on my Ipod. I have more than 500 songs on it now, but I still have 1500 more to go and I don't think it's going to happen right away. Space is good.

My parents went out and bought a DVD player today. It's not bad. I'm so used to watching DVDs on the computer though so it's weird watching them on actual television here at my parent's house.

My grandpa's reunion wasn't that bad I guess. There's just something about McPherson that is strange...it's such a hick town. My grandpa says the most off the wall things too. It's hard to describe here, but stuff he says is just weird.

Well, nothing much else going on. I'm planning on calling student housing tomorrow to see what's up on the scholarship hall status. My dad doubts anyone will be there, but it's worth a shot. My dad said some funny things today. First, he said that he would be really happy if I got into scholarship hall, but would be just as happy if I stuck around here for another semester. Second, he flat out said that it would be great if Madeleine shared an apartment with me! My mom also agreed! I haven't even told Madeleine this yet. My parents really like my girlfriend, which is great. I know her parents wouldn't want us living together, not that they have anything against me, but it just wouldn't happen. I think it would be awesome though and I know Madeleine would be all for it too ;) But we'll probably have to wait a few more years to actually be able to do that.

I'm going to go upload some more music and finish my book if possible. It sure is nice knowing that I still have 19 more free days before school starts again.
