Now I know why it's hard to play at Missouri

I just got back from Columbia, Missouri...home of the worst fans in the entire world. Oh yeah, also home of the University of Missouri Tigers...who lost to KU. It was my first MU vs KU game experience away from Allen Fieldhouse and it turned out to be one of the classic games in the rivalry. With under 1 minute left and KU down by 3 points, Aaron Miles hit a 3 pointer with the shot clock running down. It was a miracle shot, but he hit it. Missouri ran it down the court and missed a jumper and we grabbed the rebound and Kirk Hinrich hit another 3 pointer to put us in the lead for good with under 30 seconds left. It was so amazing to be there and watch the MU fans get slapped in the face like that by players they constantly make fun of for really no reason. Their Ricky Clemmons caused a stir among opposing fans in the Big 12 for his disorderly conduct off the basketball court, but there aren't any KU basketball players that need to be made fun of. Missouri fans are just making themselves worse people by acting like idiots and its so nice when KU wins like this to shut them up. KU is awesome.

This has been a crazy and fun filled weekend. Friday I went to Keegan's party and ended up talking with my friend Jenny until almost 4 in the morning. Then last night I went to Henry's and Abe and Jakes for my friend's girlfriend and her sister's 21st birthday parties and didn't go to sleep until 2:30...then woke up at 6:45 am this morning to go to the game. But I had a lot of fun...and was even able to get some homework done in the process . I have 3 midterms next week, but luckily they don't start until tuesday. And they're in classes that aren't very difficult for me and I'm doing very well in them so far.

Madeleine should be in Paris by now...I tried to send my letters to her, but the post office has really wierd hours, so I'll do it this week. I think I'll write another letter to her while I'm waiting for that...it's been a good weekend.
