Chikiti China the Chinese Chicken

2003-07-05 @ 9:56 p.m.

Being a bus-boy is a lot easier than waiting tables at Pwong's famous Chinese Chicken Restruaunt from HELL.

{DING DING-DING DING-DING DING-DING........**GONG**}

Pwong asked me how I was liking my new position and I told him I liked it 'a lot better.' I even went as far as to thank him again for his hospitable helping hand in giving my poor little soul a second chance. He said: 'hey man, no problem, thats what friends do for each other. If I didn't care about you, I wouldn't have given you a second chance. See what I'm saying.'

Gee Pat, thanks for saving my life!

Let's be honest, working there fucking blows, but its not so bad now that I have less responsibility. I screw up less, don't have to work as hard, don't have to be thinking all the time as much...everything works better in my favor. So I guess I'm happy to be working this job. But I still don't really need it. I figure I'll make like $100 a month from working there...and that could come in handy once school rolls around and I want to take my beautiful girlfriend out to La Parrilla or buy her flowers for once. I figure that if I keep working, I'll be thinking less cheaply.

So again, Pat, you really saved my life! I don't know WHAT I'd do without you. You are my savior, my buddha, my Bill Gates wannabe.

I can be hostile once in awhile, right?

Well, I wrote my beloved Madeleine a long email yesterday and tried calling her today, but I guess she must have had a gem of a time up in College Station with her high school friends because she's asleep at 9:30 pm. I miss her and I wish we didn't fight like we did on the phone. I'm not taking all the blame for that though. I am taking my portion though because I was really not in a good mood. Being apart from her sucks so much...

My sister drove down to Wichita this morning at 4 AM to see her friend, Larissa. Now she's coming back and should be home in 20 minutes.

One more day left in this wonderous four day weekend full of fun and excitement. Actually, besides making dinner with my family yesterday and going to the campanile to watch the fireworks with my dad and Ann, this weekend has sucked the big one. Dinner was great...we made some eggplant dish with potato salad and salad and lemonade and rhubarb and strawberries and my sister's awesome vegan brownies. That reminds me...I need to eat my last one. I'm so happy to be a vegatarian.

Well, Ann's finally home. I'm going to go talk with her for awhile, but I bet she's dead tired.

Ta-ta.
