Nothing much. KU beat Mizzou in football two weeks ago. Watched students tear down the goalposts. They'e playing Colorado on Saturday...a Colorado team who lost to Baylor. Hope we win. We'd better.

Today wasn't so good. I had studied all week for a midterm in my politics 515 class. I did well on the first essay I think, but the second one was pretty damn horrible because I ran out of time. I was totally panicking when I got out and after talking with Madeleine, I went in and talked to my professor about it. I guess he drops the lowest test grade at the end of the semester, so thats good. He suggested just to wait and see what happens. I feel better after going in and talking with him about it.

Everything else is going pretty well. I'm participating in a Winter Alternative Break this winter. I'm going with a group of girls to St. Louis to work at the Boys and Girls club. Should be great for my teaching experience.

Madeleine is so wonderful. She helps me out so much and we're doing so much together. Its almost like she hadn't left now, almost. Its still a little different, but overall, its great.

I just completed one of my two stressful weeks prior to the Fall Break extended weekend. I'm flying down to Texas with Madeleine to see her family and stuff. But this next week, I have two papers to write, another midterm to study for in my War and Peace class, and countless other bullshit.

Before I go, I'd just like to add that I found out that our universe has been predicted to have the shape of a soccer ball. I strangely feel comfortable knowing this information...even if it is just a theory.
